Rain Shadow Tennessee Chef
Rain Shadow Tennessee Chef
When I find saw blades that aren’t suited for making chef knives, I turn them into something else. In this case, I blended a couple East TN sawmill blades to create a beautiful and tough damascus cladding that is painstakingly laminated over a virgin carbon steel core and copper liner. This striking material features a high contrast presentation finish that is sure to catch your eye. Thin behind the edge and easy to maintain, the blade is balanced with a tapered full tang clad in cutting board cutoffs from a neighbor & Turkish walnut from an old shotgun stock.
