This extra deep santoku is forged from a shop made topographic damascus core sandwiched between two pieces of stainless steel. Fusing dissimilar materials has quickly become a favorite process of mine. The versatile blade features a unique blend of flat & convex grinds as well as a stout full tang handle. San mai construction: shop made laminated steel using stainless cladding over damascus carbon steel.
