Highlighting the beauty of salvaged materials, this well balanced blade is made by stacking and fusing bourbon barrel bands with nickel and high carbon steel. The high performance carbon steel working edge is protected by a labor intensive recycled bourbon barrel band cladding. The blade features a versatile, slightly convex grind that is both thin behind the edge and easy to maintain.Comfortable, form fitting maple burl handle. The full tang bolster imparts a stout feel while the majority hidden tang adds to the comfort and ease of maintenance while shedding weight.

This deep chef is forged with high carbon steel sandwiched between two pieces of stainless steel. Fusing dissimilar materials has quickly become a favorite process of mine. The versatile blade features a unique blend of flat & convex grinds. This thin and light blade is forged with lots of love and joy - creating a fingerprint pattern with steel serves to be an incredibly joyful experience. Repetitious cutting, welding and forging, the pattern creates itself and is impossible to replicate. Once the steel is created, it’s carefully forged to shape, drawing out the thin blade and the tapered full tang, spine & bevels. Best in the hands of someone who prefers lighter weight knives.
