27. Granny Paring (5 available)

I designed these after an antique fork I found with a simple bone handle. It struck me as the ultimate timeless tool - I loved the handle shape and size so much I started with that element and designed the blade to fit the handle.

On the porch slicing or in the garden for harvest, make your own pouch and carry it with you. Its small stature make this parer more versatile than may first meet the eye. The stout full tang gives each knife a reliable presence. The classic carbon steel is cold forged to shape by hand, using hammer and anvil.

The handles in this group are made using a laminated burlap micarta that is both durable and beautiful and provides a trustworthy grip.
