30. Dissection

I designed this paring knife last year after making many “granny” style paring knives, I decided to update the design with a slightly longer blade and handle. On the porch slicing or in the garden for harvest, make your own pouch and carry it with you. Its small stature make this parer more versatile than may first meet the eye. The stout full tang gives this knife a reliable presence.

I designed this with inspiration from an heirloom fork with a simple bone handle. It struck me as the ultimate timeless tool - I loved the how the well worn handle welcomed my grip with warmth. I designed the blade to fit the handle.
